Chaitanya’s advent to Vrindavan to be celebrated

Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s adevnt to Vrindavan is set to be celebrated in all it’s glory and grandeur in the holy land of Vrindavan. Owing to the last year’s occasion of the 5th Centennial ceremony, a pomp and elaborate celebration is lined up this year as well for the delight of all Krishna Bhakts!

Graced by the presence of Mr. Pranab Mukherjee, the honourable President of India last year, the immense response has urged the devotees to bring together yet another event to commemorate the event of the incarnation of Krishna discovering Vrindavan. Expect the same energy and enthusiasm as the last year’s celebration!

This year, this celebration will take place on the banks of the Yamuna, at Imtitala from 16th October to 14th November. During this month long celebration, there will be Gouranga Lila in the mornings, performed by troupes of Padmashree Swami HargovindaJi.

Mahaprabhu’s teachings will be discussed in the afternoons and in the evenings there will be Mahanam Sankeertan. The devotees are very excited and they have also organized a ‘bus yatra’. This bus will take the devotees to Puri and come back to Vrindavan via the same route which Mahaprabhu followed to get to Vrindavan.

This event is set to be organized by Shri Goudiya Sangh, Shri Vraja Saraswat Goudiya Vaishnav Sangh and Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu Aagaman Panshati Samaroh Samiti.
