State Government is preparing to have solar powered lights at the Yamuna river fronts. The work has already been started and is expected to go on for a year, post which the river fronts will be shining from solar powered bulbs. Apart from that, Government is also planning to have more greenery on both sides of the river.
Mr. Deepak Singhal (Chief Secretary at Irrigation Department) and Mr. R. D. Paliwal (Staff Officer) inspected the riverfront and guided the concerned authorities to prepare a detailed project report (DPR) within a week.
