PM Modi visits Mathura and is welcomed by C.M Yogi Adityanath, M.P Hema Malini and 15,000 Brajwasis
Prime Minister Modi recently visited the holy town of Mathura to inaugurate several projects related to animal healthcare, dairy development, cleanliness and tourism. The program was held at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Veterinary Science University and Cattle Research Institute. Several polyclinics in Agra and Mathura were inaugurated for animal care and treatment. Other projects were announced, which fall under the ‘Swacchata hi Seva Abhiyaan 2019’.
As single use plastic products have also been wreaking havoc on the environment, Modiji strongly encouraged everyone to stop using them. As he wanted to have a look at the plastic disposal practices in place, he interacted with the garbage collecting women. After understanding all the technicalities from them, he enquired about their health and financial well-being. Several development schemes, keeping the Tourism Industry in mind, have been announced for Mathura, Vrindavan, Govardhan, Nandgaon and Barsana.
Modiji also said that talks are on about building a new road encircling the entire Govardhan Parikrama. Uttar Pradesh has been plagued by Japanese Encephalitis and Acute Encephalitis Syndrome for a while now. Modiji thanked Yogi Adityanath for putting in so much effort towards eradicating it.
