President Kovind to visit Vrindavan on 28th November
On the said date, President Ram Nath Kovind will travel to Vrindavan to officially open the new block of the Ramkrishna Mission Charitable Hospital, which started functioning in 1963. He will be accompanied by UP Governor Anandiben Patel and UP CM Yogi Adityanath. The new block has many advanced facilities like a cancer ward, an ICU and a radiology section. What has become a well equipped hospital today was actually first opened in 1907 as only a homoeopathy dispensary.
In 1963 this establishment was first modified into a hospital, then having only 5 beds. From there, today the hospital has 300 beds.
