Brahmotsavam concluded at Shri Rang Mandir

The ten day long ‘rath ka mela’ finally concluded at the Shri Rang Mandir. Locally known as the ‘rath ka mela’, this festival is actually the Brahmotsavam celebration of Shri RangJi Mandir of Vrindavan. Brahmotsavam is celebrated every year during the month of March or April, in strict accordance with the shastras. Bhagwan RangnathJi Maharaj is taken out during this time in a procession to the Bade Bagicha, the sprawling gardens situated near the Katyayani Mandir.

Everyday there are processions in the morning and in the evening. The Lordship goes out for these processions, mounted on different vahans for about ten days. Every vahan of the Lord has a different significance. The temple management, the Vrindavan Municipality and the district administration make elaborate arrangements for the festival. Tight security is also put in place.

Thousands of devotees from nearby towns and villages come to watch the special illuminations, pandals and arches that are erected around the temple and give the entire place a new look.

VCM: the difference between a resident at Krishna Bhumi and a visitor

The Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir, once completed, will stand more than 700 ft tall and will be a structure that will change the skyline of Vrindavan. The temple will feature attractions like a grand temple hall, a vedic cosmology exhibit, an indoor Krishna leela theme park, the 12 recreated vanas of Vrindavan and much more. Needless to say that this monument will be a great tourist attraction. As with all tourist attractions, when you visit the Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir, you will have to wait in a queue to seek the darshan of the Lord and to enjoy other attractions.

As a resident of Krishna Bhumi however, there are certain privileges to the Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir that you will always enjoy. Forget waiting in queues, you will always have separate access to the temple. Same goes for trying to perform a special puja in the mandir. You can perform a puja for the wellbeing of your family any one day of the year. What’s more? Vrindavan is known as the city of more than 5000 temples! It would be a great miss if you did not get to explore them.

But in order to do that, you know no longer have to painstakingly navigate your car through the narrow bylanes of Vrindavan, nor do you have to take a rickshaw ride and sweat it out in the humid weather. You can simply hop aboard the air conditioned coaches leaving from Krishna Bhumi for the various temples and have a hassle free darshan of the various idols of Lord Krishna. Being a resident of Krishna Bhumi has its benefits! Be a resident of Krishna Bhumi and reap the benefits today! Call 969696 8899 to know more about our project.

Live blessed – Krishna Bhumi, Living besides a world monument

Vrindavan has always had a pull for people who are religiously inclined. However, it cannot be denied that at one point of time Vrindavan did not have the infrastructure required to support the amount of visitors it got. Recently, Vrindavan was declared a transition city and ever since then a lot of development has been taking place in the city. Among other structures that are coming up in Vrindavan, Krishna Bhumi is playing a huge role. This is because this township, that is being touted as the ‘temple township’, is coming up at the feet of the Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir.

The Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir is going to be the tallest Krishna temple in the world. A township that is situated at the feet of it is sure to change the lifestyle of Vrindavan. Once completed, this temple is going to be nothing short of the 8th wonder of the world. Needless to say, people from all over the world will visit this iconic structure and dream of living in the township situated around it.
