Infinity Group: Where ‘Green’ is the Grey Matter!
If you are from, or have ever visited the colonial city of Kolkata, formerly known as Calcutta, and have passed through the bustling lanes of Sector V, Saltlake, you may have seen the beautiful building by the name “Infinity Think Tank”. The Infinity Group began their journey with that iconic building. More than a decade earlier, roughly around the year 2000, when Sector V was still upcoming, Infinity Group built Infinity Think Tank there, the first ‘intelligent’ IT empowered workspace in Kolkata. Today, Sector V is East India’s largest IT hub and a major economy driver, and it was this group and their iconic building that triggered the entire process.
Being the first real estate developers who introduced and popularised the concept of Green and Sustainable development, they have been dubbed the ‘pioneers’ in this field. But when we say ‘they’, who do we mean? Here are the people who made it all happen!
Mr. RavindraChamaria, Chairman & Managing Director – Infinity
A first-generation entrepreneur and the creator of several successful businesses, MrRavindraChamaria has chosen the Infinity Group to be his banner enterprise for Sustainable and Green Real Estate.
He is the Vice Chairman on the advisory board of AkshayaPatra, which is the world’s largest NGO operated School Meal Program. He is also the Chairman of the board of trustees in AkshayaPatra UK.
Another brainchild of his is the Anant Education Initiative, a merit-based scholarship program for marginalised and financially constrained students, who want to pursue higher education.
Mr. PulakChamaria, Director – Infinity Infotech Parks Ltd.
Mr PulakChamaria brings a lot of positive energy and enthusiasm to the table and is an ardent believer in using only the best practices in all of Infinity Group’s ventures.
A long standing Green Citizen, he was the driving force behind Infinity Benchmark, the 7th Platinum rated USGBC certified Green Building in the world, and only the 2nd of its kind outside of USA.
A keen believer of Indian Philosophy & Spirituality, he thoroughly believes in giving back to the elders of our society. His expert leadership is also behind JagritiDham, a certified Green Building and a luxurious facility for senior citizens, in Kolkata.
With the expertise of all these people put together, and each thoroughly believing that the scope for Green & Sustainable Development is limitless, it is no wonder that Infinity Group has won so many awards. To put the entire list here would be impossible, but some simply have to be mentioned.

This has been Infinity Group’s journey till now and even as you are reading this blog, they are hard at work at their next iconic project, the luxurious temple township, Krishna Bhumi, in Vrindavan!
