The issue that this blog addresses is the fact that, were these two cities always self sufficient tourist hubs? Alas, the answer is no. However, things are changing and changing for the better in the cities of Mathura and Vrindavan. Mathura has gained a heritage city status and Vrindavan has become a transition city! With this, the government both at the state level and the centre level are doing everything they can to develop these two cities.
